Started in 1963 by Mary Hammond in Del Mar, CA, Mary’s Tack & Feed has grown to be one of the top tack and feed stores in the nation, and definitely one of the largest in the Southwest.

It’s hard to believe as you look around the 12,000 square feet and two stories of English and Western tack & saddles, supplements, ranch supplies, apparel, boots and so much more that Mary’s started in a small room of an old gas station. The original Mary sold Mary’s Tack & Feed to our current owner in 1976, and he grew the small tack store from a 600 square foot room to the business it is today.

Mary’s is built on two concepts – customer service and ensuring that we carry the product our customers want. Hard to find items, unique products, and quality inventory fill Mary’s shelves. Over the years Mary’s has the reputation of carrying high quality products, and some people misunderstand quality with expense. You won’t find a $17 imported bridle at Mary’s. But you’re invited to price compare any product we have with other stores, and we think you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the competitiveness of our pricing.

Mary’s Superstore is on the corner of Via De La Valle and El Camino Real, just 1.5 miles east of interstate 5. Mary’s also has an Outpost Store in San Juan Capistrano, in the Rancho Sierra Vista Equestrian Center.
