For a proper fit and ease of putting on the body protector, loosen the side laces and keep them loose while you zip up. Then, adjust the laces. For any riding, from relaxed trail rides to cross country jumping, ites important to have the correct size and secure, close fit. To find the right size, measure your chest at the widest point and your waist at your natural waist. Next, while seated in a chair, measure your spine from the small bump at the back of your neck to the tailbone. A clearance of 1 inch to 2 inches from the chair seat to your tailbone is what you want to prevent interference with the saddle when youere on horseback.
